Information We Collect

  • Basic profile details: name, phone number, email, neighbourhood.
  • Verification artifacts: government ID snapshot, payment token (stored by Stripe).
  • Task metadata: pickup/drop-off locations, receipts, chat history.
  • Usage signals: device type, app analytics, ratings.

How We Use Data

  • Match helpers and requesters and improve route recommendations.
  • Verify identity, process payments, and prevent fraud.
  • Maintain safety (e.g., dispute investigations, support follow-up).
  • Send transactional updates and important service notices.

What We Don't Do

  • We do not sell or rent personal data to marketers.
  • We do not use personal chats for advertising or data monetization.
  • We do not share your exact contact info until both parties agree.

Third-Party Processors

We rely on trusted vendors to run core services. Payments are handled by Stripe. Identity verification and payouts may use services like Plaid, Persona, or Wise. Each provider meets industry security standards.

Your Controls

  • Request a copy or deletion of your data by emailing support@neigbordrop.com.
  • Update notification preferences inside the app at any time.
  • Deactivate your account whenever you no longer need the service.

Data Retention

Core account details remain while your account is active. Transaction records (e.g., receipts) may be kept for up to 7 years to comply with financial regulations. Once deleted, data is removed from production systems within 30 days.
